Participants will learn the history of Hmong paj ntaub and apply what they learn to create 2 projects in this 6 week workshop series. During the last week, participants will share with one another about what they have learned through a presentation of learning.

WORKSHOP FEE & APPLICATION
$100.00 per student. Once you sign up for the class, you will be emailed an invoice from Npaus Baim, Program Manager, to pay the workshop fee virtually.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The instructor will provide reasonable accommodations to participants. Please speak with the instructor about accommodations before class starts. These workshops will require participants to sit for a long period of time. Participants will be encouraged to take stretch breaks throughout the workshop. Participants may also work with tiny materials for their projects. Please bring your own magnifying desk lamp if that is needed.

Padah Vang is a self taught visual artist and sculptor. She creates art to capture her deep fascination with the world which has allowed her to become a collector and archivist of her surroundings. Padah is also an educator at heart and has taught Hmong Paj Ntaub workshops at Xia Gallery & Cafe, Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia, and with the Hennepin County Library.
