SEA Us Fellowships are a series of creative workshops for Southeast Asian (SEA) youth to grow as performers, writers, and artists while also strengthening the youth as an individual person to be the best version of themselves.

SEA represent Minnesota’s largest Asian population and continues to grow. We understand that SEA youth have intersecting identities as they share experiences of being an / from a family of immigrants and refugees. Together, they have experienced landlessness, acculturation, and trauma. We need more inclusive and culturally relevant spaces for SEA youth to engage in their intersecting identities, history, and culture.

The SEA Us Fellowships strives to provide this space for SEA youth to engage in dialogue and navigate these complexities while using creative methods. These fellowships will cultivate creative, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills led by professional and experienced Southeast Asian artists.

We believe in bringing culture into the classroom.
